INCLUDiT – VIII International Conference for Inclusion and CITecA – II International Conference on Assistive Technology and Accessibility

The community is invited to participate in the INCLUDiT – VIII International Conference for Inclusion and in the CITecA – II International Conference on Assistive Technology and Accessibility, which will take place in person, with some parallel sessions online, on 17-18 October 2025 at Cineteatro São João and Mercado do Entroncamento, Portugal.
The event aims to foster dialogue, sharing, and scientific dissemination of research, as well as good practices and experiences in the areas of inclusion, accessibility, and assistive technologies, in a multidisciplinary logic. Hence, the INCLUDiT VIII and CITecA II programme includes:
- plenary and parallel sessions, to present academic-scientific research
- workshops about assistive technologies, to show solutions available in the market
- cultural activities, to share city cultural offer
The abstracts will be published in a book of proceedings with ISBN, and the full version of the papers presented at the conference may be published in a book with ISBN, after a double blind review. The authors of the best papers may be invited to extend their texts with a view to publication in a scientific journal.

Important dates
- Submission of extended abstract – until July 28, 2025
- Notification to authors – until September 19th, 2025
- Submission of final abstract – until September 30th, 2025
- Registration of at least one author per abstract – until September 30th, 2025
- Registration of participants without paper – Until October 16, 2025
Submission of the full paper to publish in book ou scientific journal – dates will be disclosure after the event.
Note: At least one of the authors of the accepted abstract must register by September 30, to guarantee the presentation of the paper and its inclusion in the Conference proceedings.
Each (co-)author registered may submit and present a maximum of two papers, and the presentation certificate will be issued in the name of the registered author who presents the work/s.
Each proposal should have a maximum of 6 authors.
Working languages
Portuguese, English, Spanish, LGP (Portuguese Sign Language).
