Guidelines for submitting papers
The INCLUDiT VIII and CITecA II Conferences will include presentations from the different thematic areas, with plenary sessions with Keynote Speakers, and parallel sessions for paper presentations.
Submissions will be reviewed by a blind peer review carried out by experts from the Scientific Committee of the events. The evaluation will take into consideration:
- the relevance of the work to the themes of the conference
- The scientific quality and/or relevant contributions to the area
- Compliance with the standards set by the Organizing Committee
The presentation and publication of papers in the proceedings are conditional upon the registration in INCLUDiT and CITecA of at least one of the authors and the presentation of the paper at the event. The authors of the best papers may be invited to publish in a scientific journal.
Each registered (co-)author may submit and present a maximum of two papers, and the presentation certificate will be issued in the name of the registered author who presents the paper/s.
Each proposal should have a maximum of 6 authors.
Extended abstract
The proposals should be done by submitting an extended abstract which:
- should be in a non-editable format (.pdf)
- should not have the authors’ names
- should have between 5000 to 7000 caracters (with spaces)
- should respect the template of the extended abstract
- should be send until September 10 2025

Communication presentation
Presentations are aimed at presenting scientific research resulting from academic work, projects and experiences. The oral presentation of the communication will last 15 minutes, plus 5 minutes for discussion. Thus, it is important to pay attention when designing the presentation to respect the time limit.

Selected abstracts may be invited to extend and publicise their work in INCLUDIT and CiTECA partner journals.

Dates will be disclosure after the event, considering the publication in 2026.
The Microsoft CMT service was used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bore all expenses, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support.
